Is there an additional fee for plans that include QuickBooks?

No. Your QuickBooks Online subscription is included in Technology & Platform Management, which shows as a single line on your invoice. That fee covers providing, setting up, maintaining and supporting the accounting technology we use on your behalf, so you will not get a separate software bill and you do not need to buy your own subscription.

Technology & Platform Management is a service fee, not a resale of the software. Routine changes in what Intuit charges are absorbed within the service rather than passed straight through to you. If your setup expands, for example when we take on another connected application, we will talk it through with you before your fee changes.

What is included in my unlimited consultations?

While this pricing entitles your company to unlimited consultation with us, if your question or issue requires additional research and analysis beyond the consultation, that work will be subject to an additional price, payment terms, and scope to be agreed upon before the service is to be performed.

Can I schedule time outside normal business hours?

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern, excluding observed holidays. Support on holidays or at other times outside those hours may be arranged in advance, depending on availability and your engagement. If something urgent comes up outside business hours, email us or leave a voicemail, and a member of our team will follow up as soon as possible. Routine services included in your plan are completed during normal business hours. If a request falls outside your engagement, we will discuss it with you before proceeding.

What's included in full-service payroll and reporting?

Full-Service Payroll pricing quoted includes the semi-monthly pay schedule using the Gusto payroll platform. Monthly fees will be adjusted to accommodate pay schedules with different frequencies. Additional payrolls, including termination checks, will be billed separately. Full-Service Payroll includes setting up benefit and other deductions and remitting garnishments, based on the deduction details you provide. Gusto subscription fees are a pass-through third-party vendor fee and are subject to change as Gusto changes its pricing.

How do Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable services work?

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable pricing will need to be reviewed and determined based on your specific needs and the quantity of transactions per month. A limited number of payments and/or invoicing is included in the package but is dependent on the complexity of the transactions.

What can I add to my package?

Every package starts with a core set of accounting services, and you add what your business actually needs. The most common additions are:

Add-ons are priced on volume and complexity, and we quote anything outside your package before the work starts.

What if I need something outside my package?

We quote it before we begin. Where work is billed hourly, current rates for clients on an active package are $75 per hour for Bookkeeping and $125 per hour for Accounting & Consulting. Tax Consulting is $150 per hour and Fractional CFO is $185 per hour. Our Fee Schedule lists every rate.

How does compliance renewal work?

Our team will handle compliance and renewal at an hourly rate plus applicable filing fees. Here are a few examples:

Sales Tax/Business License: Hourly + applicable filing fees
Food License: Hourly + applicable filing fees
Liquor License: Hourly + applicable filing fees
All other compliance applications, reporting, and renewals: Hourly + applicable filing fees
